I have been having one dram on my wish-list for some time now and it is the Yellow Submarine by Bruichladdich Distillery. Why is this dram on my wish-list?
This photo of a yellow submarine below and above aren’t particularly appealing, but they were the only copyrights free image I could find on Pexels.com and Flickr.com. With the new Copyright laws (article 13) in Europe I better make sure I abide 😉
Why is it on my wish-list. Well, not for the dram itself, but for the combination I want to make, in a display cabinet, with a Lego Ideas Set 21306 “Yellow Submarine”. I did but two of these sets. One for building and one for investment. Yes, I do buy Star Wars Lego sets with Darth Vader, Boba Fett and the Millennium Falcon just for investment reasons. I also have some Lego IDEAS sets laying around just for that purpose.
So I already have the Lego set. Now all I need is the Bottle. In fact it can be an empty bottle, since it is for display reasons only.
I did try and buy one when the second edition was put on the market last year but I thought the pricing was a tad too steep for me at that moment in time.
The Idea for making this Lego and Yellow Submarine Bottle Display originated when I visited the Bruichladdich Distillery Shop on the day of #laddiemp4. You can read the blog I posted about my first visit here. It also shows the Kilchoman Distillery and Machir Bay.
So it would really rock if I could get my hands on the empty bottle! If somebody has it left over and empty, please let me know! I will gladly pick up the transport costs!
All that’s left is some photo’s of me with the Yellow Submarine! 🙂
